Our Mission

To promote, organize, provide, develop, manage and facilitate research, innovative services, programmes and training courses in mobility and transport;
To develop and deliver upskilling and reskilling training modules for key-players, employees and stakeholders, and the public at large, for the purpose of professional formation, enhancement of skills, attitudes and practices contributing to ameliorating mobility and transport in Malta;
To organise, develop and facilitate educational programmes such as research, projects, publications;
To follow new developments and future trends in industry, organise hackathons and collaborate with innovation hubs to depict the mobility and transport as gateway to the use of innovative technology;
To arrange and provide for, or join in arranging and providing training courses, meetings, lectures, classes, seminars, training programmes, exchanges and events;
To establish and maintain strong relations with industry, research institutions, government entities and agencies and all stakeholders to develop cooperation networks with international and national partners to encourage knowledge transfer;
To advance, complement and support the policies and strategies of the Government on transport and mobility;

To establish, undertake, execute, manage or assist institutions or organisations in any legal form for the achievement of the same or complimentary purposes or aims;
To organize seminars, training or other educational endeavours, to promote improvement and professionalism in the transport and mobility industry;
To promote the publication of periodicals and other materials that explain, promote and disseminate information about mobility and transport in general;
To liaise and collaborate closely with governmental and private institutions concerned with the transport industry to constantly ameliorate skills and competence levels and related curricula, if and where necessary;
To identify gaps in formal and informal training and coordinate educational aspects of transport and mobility;
To follow new developments and future trends in the transport and mobility industry and partner in various EU funding calls to provide the opportunity for exposure to best practices, building capacity, introduce training and retraining levels;
To maintain sound relations with industry, educational and research institutions and all stakeholders in the sectors of transport and mobility; and
To carrying out of any other function which is related to or ancillary to the above and as may be assigned by the Authority or the Minister from time to time.
