Overview

This programme is intended for adults aged 18+ (particularly current and future employees in the transport industry). It provides opportunities to connect scientific principles with real-life traffic safety, reflect on personal behaviour, and refresh competences needed for responsible participation in society as road users.

Responsible Road Use - Information Session with The Malta Chamber of SMEs

Malta Chamber of SMEs and Transport Malta, together with the Malta Police Force, are hosting two 2-hour information sessions on the new impaired driving legislation and responsible road use. Sessions take place at 3:00pm in Floriana on 16 April 2026 (Maltese) and 23 April 2026 (English). A digital certificate of attendance will be issued to all participants.

The Gozo Business Chamber and Transport Malta are hosting two information sessions on Responsible Road Use through the Transport Learning Hub, focusing on the new impaired driving legislation and its impact on drivers and employers. Sessions will be delivered by the Malta Police Force: 15 April 2026 (Maltese) and 30 April 2026 (English), 15:00–17:00, at the GRDA Hall, Gozo.

What is the Transport Learning Hub?

The Transport Learning Hub is a dedicated platform offering accredited programmes, innovative initiatives, information sessions educational resources and industry insights for maritime, aviation and road transport and logistics sectors.

Our courses cater to everyone from beginners who are interested to obtain a better understanding of how mobility and connectivity industries work, younger generations looking to start a career in transport to seasoned professionals seeking career changes and new challenges in view of the future dynamic introduction of new fuels and new technologies in the maritime, aviation, road transport and logistics.

All accredited programmes are delivered in person. The majority of information sessions are carried out in person. Otherwise live webinars for real-time interaction with industry experts.

Programmes are accredited at MQF Levels 1,2 and 3 by the Department of Quality and Standards of Education.

Applications are received through the Foundation for Education Services. Educational Institutions can apply online through this portal. For information sessions, one can apply either by following links provided by our partners or online on this portal.
