Transport Malta delivered a specialised Foundation Course in innovative detailing techniques for students following vocational education within the Alternative Learning Programme (ALP), in collaboration with the Malta Detailing Academy. The course introduced learners to industry-led practices and real-world standards, supporting skills development and future career pathways within transport-related sectors.

Participants were guided through practical, workshop-based sessions focused on professional detailing methods, including:

• Safe preparation and cleaning processes
• Correct use of tools and products
• Surface finishing and quality control
• Professional workflow, attention to detail, and best practice standards

The course aimed to build confidence, discipline, and hands-on competence skills that are directly transferable to technical and operational roles.

Successful participants were awarded a Certificate of Attendance, recognising their commitment and participation in a structured, practical training experience. The initiative also supports employability by introducing students to industry expectations and professional standards.

This initiative was delivered and completed in January 2026 and is planned to be repeated during academic year 2026/2027, continuing to strengthen collaboration between training, education, and industry stakeholders.
